Vaults

Introduction

Vaults are used in Shuttle to securely house Keys and Secrets on a per Organization and per workgroup basis. An organizational vault is immediately created for you upon organization creation.

Sensitive data required for a Workgroup is stored in the operator's organizational vault in the form of encrypted secrets, referenced within a Workgroup context by a SecretId contained in the workgroup config. As participants join the workgroup, sensitive data specific to their configuration will be stored similarly in their own selected vault.
