How to acquire SAP Access for proUBC prototyping

A SAP Development sandbox is required to use proUBC. If you don't already have access to one or would just like to run a separate one for purposes of proUBC integration, you have several options. Be mindful of SAP's license rules and restriction specified for each option.

SAP Cloud Appliance Library

Use the SAP Cloud Appliance Library to run the ABAP Developer Trial Edition or the S/4 HANA Fully Activated Appliance

Purchase SAP Access through a dedicated IDES/Sandbox provider

Run ABAP Developer Trial Edition locally

ABAP on SAP BTP / Steampunk

Not yet supported. Stay tuned for specific release for proUBC on ABAP Steampunk (e.g. ABAP on SAP BTP)

SAP GUI

Regardless of the SAP ABAP / S4 HANA version, you will require use of the SAP GUI for development and technical administration tasks.

Each of these options ought to have SAP GUI installation/configuration instructions provided when administered.
